It’s easy to forget how to be anything else when you’re preoccupied with the exchange of nutrients with some tree cousin that is kind enough to let you sleep on their metaphorical couch.What I mean to say is sometimes I’m not who you remember and sometimes I’m not who I remember, but even still I’m about as consistent as they get.I follow cycles, but some are so big it’s like tracking pluto’s drift around the sun. And some are so small it’s like watching the first leaf change color to signify the end is coming for a spell. Just how it is with wights.We are whole rivers and a single toad watching the river slide by. But I’m different, you say. I’ve made a name for myself and I am known for more than my days shedding luck over little houses with my molting feathers. That’s right, that’s the consistent part. I take a shape that looks like you, talks like you, drinks and eats and fucks like you.Sometimes I even fight your wars and chant your protests and god, doesn’t it seem like it’s all mine as well?I guess it is. But there’s this one big thing, this unseen, slug slow cycle that runs my life more than I run it.
It started with a cow and some merging worlds in the middle of nothing and it ends there, right back in that giant gap we all sprung from.And my part is this:

Her place in the great cycle that leads always to a form of ragnarok is being the last one standing. There will be a part of her that must remain at Loki’s side with the bowl to catch the venom. If she abandons this post fully then the end comes quicker, as the venom splashes always and brings Loki into his final fury and ability to break free.She doesn’t know the exact reason why it has to be her, why it’s always her, and why she’s chosen because of what she truly is. She can guess though. Probably because being a wight allowed her to learn a sort of patience even a god couldn’t master.RE: the whole fungus thing baby.
Sigyn is very capable of seeing full pictures and whole contexts of situations as well. Her personality is often paradoxical when she has most of her understanding based in the natural world.So when it comes to man, or asgardians, or those that can shape their own natures, while she can understand where someone comes from she will not always condone where they end up. In fact there are plenty of times when simply put she does not stand for it, and this is a consequence of the time spent in asgardian form.A river doesn’t care about justice, but the man drowning his brother in the waters does. She can’t be completely unbiased like nature, and she isn’t the only wight or wight like being that feels that way.She lives a life as various creatures, as various sexes, as various t h i n g s and Sigyn is not always blunt about what she is but you never know when she’ll tell a perfect stranger everything.POWERS AND SKILLS! .
★ Immortality. Can die but can return, typically done by letting her dead form rot so she spends time as fungus first. Deeply wounding Sigyn in a humanoid form is possible, but her concept of pain and life and death differ considerably as you see.★ Shapeshifter. Can shift forms of existence. It is easier to shift from a living individual being to another than it is to shift to something more abstract and large.
For example she could go from hawk to rabbit but going from hawk to river is difficult. Often transition into more abstract matter like rivers, trees, rocks, require death of the previous form. Fungus is the great connector there.★ Can cast spells, hexes, enchantments, ect. Her magic is stronger than most due to her being a wight.★ Can use a person’s body to bind oaths to them or them to her. Does not have to be blood. Could easily be giving her an eyelash to use.★ Expert in many forms of hand to hand combat, swordplay, and marksmanship.★ Can get intoxicated, high, buzzed, ect. Abilities physically are all subject to the state of her body, meaning if she breaks a leg while having her asgardian body she can’t just keep running, she has to take time to let it heal or has to go so far as to die to Restart. She can rapidly heal but not instantly, just quicker than is normal for humans.
